Storing Encrypted Backups at rsync.net Using borg

Borg is a deduplicating archiver with compression and encryption.

borg is mature and well tested - with high adoption - and has been in development since 2010.

Backups stored at rsync.net using the borg tool are encrypted and only you, the user, hold the keys.

Neither rsync.net nor any third party can decrypt these backups without your keys.

After storing your data in encrypted form inside your rsync.net account, you may run 'borg mount' on your local machine and browse through the remote backup set in real time. You do NOT need to perform a full decryption or restoration of your borg repository just to grab a single file.
